Board and Train
Solving behavioral problems in dogs is no easy task. Sometimes, for various reasons, achieving the desired result in the current situation is simply not possible. In-house training is the ideal solution in this case. It's an intensive boot camp where your dog comes to live with me temporarily. During this period, I work with them daily on the desired behavior in a calm and structured environment.
Practical information
A board and train at Big Mouth can last 3 or 5 weeks, depending on the areas of focus. A boot camp is an intensive immersion for your dog, but also for you. You'll receive personal guidance and be involved in the process: you'll receive regular updates and instructional videos, and afterward, I'll guide you step by step as your dog returns home. This way, we'll work together to ensure that the new, balanced behavior is maintained at home—for lasting balance. What can you expect from a board and train like this?

For your dog: A fresh start in a stable environment: a new foundation is laid with understanding communication, play, trust, and the dog's individual needs as the main focus. We focus on behavioral problems that you, as the owner, identify. Every dog ​​is unique, so the program is completely customized. We always take each dog's individuality into account.

The dog stays in a quiet, home-like environment (not a noisy kennel with dozens of other dogs). Every dog ​​here is treated as part of the family. Fundamentally, I work on more than just the given training points. I also ensure that the dog generally finds more peace and can cope with stimuli, as well as how to make good choices in daily life. Dogs of all ages and all breeds are welcome. For you, as an owner: the Board and Train is about the two of you. FREE DISCOVERY CALL
Finding a trainer who's a good fit for you is crucial. You'll undoubtedly have questions, and you can ask them during this consultation. During this 20-minute phone call, we'll listen to your goals and explain how we can help.
You'll learn about our working methods, what a bootcamp might look like, the steps we might follow, and more.
After the questions, we move on to step 2: the consultation. We'll schedule this together, either at home or here at Big Mouth.

CONSULTATION
After the phone call, we'll meet for the first time. This session lasts about two hours and gives me the opportunity to see the dog "in action." I need to be able to assess the work that needs to be done and how long the boot camp should last. Once I've analyzed the dog and the situation, we'll decide together whether we'll schedule it for three or five weeks.
We can schedule this consultation during the telephone call or you can easily consult the agenda via the website.

THE BOARD & TRAIN
A complete immersion, first and foremost for your dog, and then for you too! Bootcamp is a catapult into a new direction for both dog and owner! We'll work together on a new path, with me laying the foundation during weeks of intense training. A solid foundation that you'll continue to build upon under my guidance, for the rest of your dog's life. My help, training, and support are there for as long as you need them.

Follow-up and weekly group lessons
At least 5 private lessons (worth €440!) are included in the price, so you'll receive plenty of guidance once your dog is back home. Your dog can't be the only one making changes to their behavior. You also need to change to ensure the new, positive behavior is permanent. It's important to understand that the changes I create with your dog are temporary. It's the changes and lessons I provide to owners that ensure these changes are permanent (and even improve further!).
