Puppy training
Bringing a puppy home is wonderful, but also… quite intense. Everything is new: housetraining, biting behavior, walking on a leash, learning to be alone. It takes time, patience, and the right approach. With a little hard work and good guidance, you can turn your puppy into a confident, reliable dog who can go anywhere—and that starts with the right start. My structured yet playful approach has already guided many puppies and their owners to a rich life where everyone can enjoy each other to the fullest. I'd love to help you do the same.
Practical information
Getting off to the right start isn't always easy. There's so much opinion and (online) information that it can be hard to see the forest for the trees. Many dog training schools also don't prioritize functional, realistic training enough and can't help you with more complex issues. During my puppy training, I'll help you learn the basics step by step. You'll learn to understand why your puppy does what they do and how to guide them in a positive and targeted way. This way, we prevent problem behavior later on and lay a solid foundation for a happy future together. We start with an initial consultation of at least 90 minutes. This can be done in two ways:
1. ONLINE CONSULTATION – before your puppy arrives

This consultation will help you start with clarity and confidence—and prevent many beginner mistakes. This is why I highly recommend this option (if possible).
2. CONSULTATION (AT HOME) – if your puppy is already at home
Is your puppy already at home? No problem! We'll schedule a puppy consultation at home or here, although it's recommended to meet in the puppy's home environment. During an at-home consultation, we'll take the time to get to know your puppy and family situation. This way, I can create a practical, customized training plan that fits your daily life.
Theory & Practice Hand in Hand
Whatever you choose, the puppy consultation always starts with some theory – because a well-informed owner is the key to success. Then, we'll immediately get started with practical exercises and homework. You'll learn:

Understanding your puppy's body language and cues Setting boundaries in a positive and purposeful way

How your daily interactions and routine can positively impact their overall behavior

And much more, depending on what you and your puppy need.
Together, we'll lay the foundation for a strong bond and a happy, stable dog who enjoys learning and loves being with you. After each session, we'll immediately schedule a new training session—either at my home or at yours. At home, you'll work on the "homework" and implement the learned fundamentals daily, so your puppy can truly apply what they've learned in their daily life. During the next lesson, we'll build on that foundation. This way, your puppy will gradually grow into the stable, happy dog you envision.

During training, the focus is on positive interaction, play, and clear communication. This way, you and your puppy will truly understand each other, and your bond will grow with every session. A good start is crucial: you can't build a strong house on a weak foundation. The 5-lesson package is ideal for puppies to lay that solid foundation. It's valid for a long enough period that you can spread it out throughout the dog's developmental stages—allowing you and your puppy to grow into a confident, well-balanced team.
