The team

Trieze Pauwels
Welcome! I'm Trieze, the founder of Big Mouth and a passionate dog behavior therapist and trainer. My mission? To help you and your dog live a balanced, enjoyable, and stress-free life together. My approach revolves around positive reinforcement, clear communication, structure, and playfulness. Because training shouldn't just be effective—it should also be fun, for both the dog and the human. My journey began as a purely positive trainer, but I soon realized that some goals weren't achievable. This was often due to unclear communication, which caused dogs to become stuck in stress and uncertainty. There was room for improvement. I delved deeper, learned more, and found my own balanced way of working—with results. Today, I combine that same positive attitude with various techniques, fully tailored to what you and your dog need. No one-size-fits-all, but customized solutions—always with respect, playfulness, and targeted guidance. Whether you choose private lessons, workshops, or intensive boot camps, I strongly believe that real change comes from the owner. Because what we do as trainers is temporary – what you do at home makes all the difference. And I'm happy to help you with that. Curious about how I work or want to get some inspiration? Be sure to check out my social media.

Macy Voet
Hi! I'm Macy , an enthusiastic dog trainer with a deep love for animals and the human-dog bond.
My adventure in the animal world began in 2018, when I graduated as a veterinary nurse. With my medical knowledge under my belt, I wasn't done learning. I decided to delve into my great passion: dog psychology. A passion that continues to fascinate me and in which I constantly strive to develop. In addition to my work as a trainer, I still work at a veterinary clinic.
Balance is essential for me, both personally and professionally. My approach is always centered around the pursuit of equilibrium—between body, mind, and emotion. I always work from the whole perspective, paying attention to physical, mental, and emotional well-being. I translate this concretely into connection, consistent leadership, clear structure, and play. My mission? To guide people and dogs toward a pleasant and balanced coexistence.
You can learn from me by booking me for behavioral training and/or obedience, puppy training, or group lessons. I look forward to helping you!
Our approach

Our approach is very simple: playful, goal-oriented, and respectful of every dog. We combine fun with structure, so your dog feels safe, can develop, and is eager to work with you. This way, we don't turn your dog into a flattened shadow, but a confident, well-behaved partner who enjoys working with you—while retaining their unique character.
In our courses you will learn:
how to set clear, respectful boundaries
how to utilize your dog's unique talents
how to have fun together and make progress
how you as an owner can grow into a stable leader your dog can trust
-
Passionate and expert guidance
Our team consists of behavior therapists and trainers who are experts in their field and work with passion. We understand dog psychology and understand the importance of involving you, the owner, every step of the way. -
Focus on the human-DOG relationship
We believe a dog doesn't change unless its owner changes. That's why our focus isn't solely on behavioral change, but rather on building a strong, clear relationship that your dog will enjoy.

At Big Mouth, we don't believe in shutting a big mouth up. We believe in understanding, guidance, and growth.
We'll turn that Big Mouth into something beautiful.
Let us help you build a bond stronger than words.
What makes Big Mouth different?
-
Respect for individuality + fun and structure
Every dog is unique—with their own character, talents, and needs. We tailor the training program to your dog's specific needs. We do this with playfulness and a clear structure. This way, they grow into enthusiastic, obedient dogs without losing their unique personality. -
Creating results together
Our classes are more than just "training with a dog": they're a path to building a strong bond, trust, and mutual understanding. You'll gain concrete tools and insights to continue your success outside of class.
